Yeah, I have heard of Barkha. I didn’t know that Baarish was derived from that word. I don’t really the sound of Baaraan. I do however like the sound of Baarish (as strange as that may sound)…but I have not heard it used as an actual…not even in dramas, where characters often do have uncommon names.

true…baarish sounds more lyrical…but FYI, these words are derivatives of the same base faarsii word baareedan [paanii kaa barasnaa]…baareedan, baarish, baaraaN etc … other similar sounding words like baareedan will have the same methodology to make other derivative words…like zaarish [cry] from the word zaareedan [to cry] and derivatives like zaar [zaar zaar ronaa] zaarish [aaNsoo] zaaraaN etc…
