^ er, Vaneeza doesn't sound like Vanessa... Vaneeza is Van-EE-za where the EE is the same as in DrEAm, and Vanessa is for sure Van-ESS-a, where the Ess sound is the same as in Dress.

Thanks just wanted to share, my sister ended up naming her baby Ayma, keep her in your prayers. My bro's having a kid too looking forward to that.

**yes, its the same name but as per roman urdu tranns-literation scheme it SHOULD be spelled as SUMAIYAH...Khair...

i've my nephew whose name is Umar. ppl started calling him U-MAAR in school so my bro changed the spelling to OMAR then ppl pronounced his name as O-MAAR...which wasn't good enuf so bro changed the spelling again to OMER. now, this is the closet spelling that u can get to the correct pronounciation of his name. they call him OM-ER...:D its was quite an exercise :D**

My sister considered the name Sumaiya for her daughter.
It means high above/ pure.Will ask her for reference.
