One of my friends (who now has two sons) was facing the same problem. Her husband truly did not have the best taste in names. She preferred the more unique/modern variety. I think they reached a compromise. She did end up getting her way…but she managed to soften him up with patience as opposed to bugging him about the issue all the time. Things are already tense between the two of you…I wouldn’t start this battle so soon. Mend the relationship, make it stronger, win him over…and maybe towards the end…maybe after you’ve had the baby…who knows, he may give in.
