you know what? i love Iman too, but i'm so afraid with the recent iPhoto, iMac, iTouch etc... kids at school will just bug her with iMan, or the Jamaican accent version of iMaan :p

i think it is... cos islamic names have to have good meanings and Eden is another word for Paradise, right? an alternative i've heard these days is Junnah, but i prefer Eden too. and Eva (from Bibi Hawwa).

FYI- i checked the Arabic meaning of this name and found out that it is NOT noble woman. one spelling is the word for Hitler's Arayan movement. the other means debt as in when someone dies with a "debt" to repay. Both don't have positive meanings.
