[b]Can anyone relate to my marriage concerns? :(

Re: **Can anyone relate to my marriage concerns? :(

OMG at 15 worry about education..and other stuff which comes before marriage..please!

Re: **Can anyone relate to my marriage concerns? :(

When I was 15, I was thinking and worrying about some of the same things. But I knew that I myself needed to grow up, experience life, get educated and meet many, many people. If you are deeply spiritual then rely on your faith. God can work miracles. There is a man out there for you and Inshallah you'll find him or vice versa. Now go do your homework.

Re: **Can anyone relate to my marriage concerns? :(

TO start with everyone is unique. You may have an IQ of 150, but the way you have written here is what I would expect from a girl who has read a Mills & Boons romance for the first time: A teenager driven by harmonal changes.

You need to reflect on to your own personality first. It is good to think high of oneself, but only upto the point where you don't start merging reality with delusion. I don't know about you being extremely religious but from your wording you don't seem spiritual at all. The foremost things, spitiuality brings to oneself are humbleness and inner reflection and then subsequently calmness. You think you have these?

Re: **Can anyone relate to my marriage concerns? :(

a lot of ppl here have given really good advice that doesnt need repeating-- the only thing i would like to add is-- dont underestimate the calibre of the muslim population in the us (or anywhere in the world for that matter) maashaallah we have many bright young men and women who are educated, well mannered, religious, spiritual and have good family values
you just have to look in the right places and trust allah

Re: **Can anyone relate to my marriage concerns? :(

dear sister....just expect the best from ALlah and inshallah thats what you will get ... plain and simple!

Re: **Can anyone relate to my marriage concerns? :(

...surely this must be a typo, did i hear you right, your 15!!!

Re: **Can anyone relate to my marriage concerns? :(

I agree with others who have said, just forget about all this marriage business, and focus on other things... LIVE your life, dont waste your time worrying about it.

Love hits unexpectedly, its something that you cannot ever plan or prepare for. You have no idea where life will take you -- you might fall in love with someone who is all of those things you listed, or none of them... or you might someone who fits all those criteria, but you arent in love with...

Its luck of the draw I guess, just have faith in God that He will provide for you, and make dua that whatever happens is for the best.

In the meantime, set goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them. Everything else will fall into place :)
