this one concerns those unlucky canadian dudes / dudettes who have to go to Food Basics or Price Chopper to do the grocery. You have to buy the shopping bags, and I dont know what science is involved in making and packaging of these bags.

It takes me an average of 45 seconds to 1 minute to open that bag. You just stand there with your conveyor loaded with stuff, the guy / gal on the cash register giving you nasty looks as he / she has to acommodate another customer on that conveyor, and you just stand there THUMBING and THUMBING and THUMBING that goddamn bag and it wont slide open :mad:

Whats been your experience :aq:

haha… i was jus thinking to myself how cheap those bags are, longos bags are much better :snooty:
i went to price chopper with my mom today… and my mom HATES those bags usually goes for boxes…anywhoo, since today she only had a few items she got a bag… and while trying to open it it ripped… :smack:… so yea got another bag

I don’t use plastic bags , we have a govt levy of 15 cent on them here ! I don’t like to waste my 15 cent , if am doing bulk shopping , I take my non-disposable bags from home .

and it isn’t garbage…they’re in the box pile. and it’s good for the environment too. reusing stuff instead of making more garbage. tsk tsk :no:

No :smilestar: Bags here in the US are free on ALL stores (at least in South and all stores where I’ve been). In fact, the store associates don’t really care, they would sometimes double and triple bag your shopping :phati:
