You wouldn’t wash your mouth out with beer or wine and therefore I don’t wash mine out with Listerine.
Alcohol can be absorbed though the lining of your mouth. Therefore, I don’t use Listerine at all.
If drunk enough, it can intoxicate you since it is much more alcoholic than beer which does intoxicate.
I’ll take this opportunity to point out that Crest Pro-Health Rinse mouthwash is alcohol-free. You should all buy it instead of Listerine
