Our roots were from Bulandshahar from the Burney clan, so we are fairly close geographically.

I don't find him that funny, Kumail's better. Russell Peters used to be good but he keeps recycling the same old race jokes.
I didn't knew much about Russell Peters until about 2 years ago. I liked his performances online and then decided to go to his live show. He was extremely mean to a Pakistani guy who had come to the show with his white girlfriend. Russell was extremely jealous of him and despite the couple expressing their discomfort several times he didn't stopped dissing them. He only stopped after he joked with my friend and it was revealed to him that there were more Pakistanis in the audience than he had realized earlier. He also seemed to be a big bootlicker of white people. Video recording was strictly banned and the official clips that were released later didn't showed his dark side. Now he has added really vulgar jokes in his performances which I had not expected at all.

Disappointing, but not surprising that he had to be another predator. At least they are being weeded out.
Didn't the girl he date go to his apartment and then give him head? Calling him a predator and putting him in the same category as Cosby, and Weinstein and the guy that murdered little Zainab just isn't reasonable.

Dang, what did he say that wasn't shown in the recordings? I remember watching the clip of him ripping into the Pakistani guy and his Polish or Greek girlfriend, i don't remember but didn't seem as bad.

If you do anything which is unwelcome then it is considered assault, she backs away physically you respect that, it could be anything where she is very interested then loses interest and you try to force the issue it is classified as assault. He was 34 and she 22, best to be safe and stay away.

Russell spotted this couple early on and asked where they were from. To which they responded clearly. Russell acted as if the guy said, “India” then the guy corrected Russell which got Russell pissed. Then Russell scolded the guy for the correction saying he understands the difference. The guy knew if he tried to start a verbal argument, he’ll be immediately kicked out. So he got back to Russell with terse random statements like, ‘yeah yeah’, ‘good try’, ‘no’, etc. whenever Russell tried to insult him.
The comedian then made fun of this guy’s shoes and job. Also said that Pakistanis get drunk and become mentally unstable so India kicked them out for good at the time of partition.
Dissing was in two parts. In the beginning Russell only targeted the guy in hopes of driving a wedge between the couple. But the girl remained unfazed, so he started dissing both of them. Making sounds of farts, saying they must’ve met due to some weird incident and how they must be ef-ing each other.
People wondered why the couple didn’t just leave. I think the situation was such that if they had left, it would’ve seemed conceding defeat and Russell would've had a victory lap during the remaining time. Anyway, everyone had their own opinion.

Not going to lie, as much as it is great that brown comedians are getting out there in the entertainment industry and getting accolades for their craft (and thus opening up doors for more brown comedians to get famous since this is a racist ass industry etc etc) it looks pathetic when they make fun of their culture in front of whites (like Russel Peters). Even if it gets old, when brown comedians do it for a predominantly brown audience (ex: Jusreign) it is more funny since he does it in a way that gets us to relate (references that we will get, it is in the mother tongue). Comedians like Russell Peters who self-deprecate do it to amuse white people's caricatures of our people.
