An MBA is degree which is supposed to make an individual a good manager. A manager may or may not be good in linguistics. If he has excellent English speaking skills but cannot manage a department / group of people or his work then what’s the use of his MBA degree.
I you meet someone who has a master’s degree in English Literature and who cannot spell or speak English well then your above post seems valid.
Many many seths (business tycoons) in Pakistan are not very literate but they are excellent leaders .
We Pakistanis can never let go of ENGLISH speaking skill as a status symbol.
If a Japanese or Chinese cannot speak english well thats okay because it’s not their mother tongue but if a Pakistani cannot speak English well he is viewed as a looser.
