I have only gone to pak around dec or may and that too a while back, so wanted to know what are the avg prices these days?
thinking of heading to Pakistan around eid for a week or two.
oh yeah and any good travel agencies info will be a plus too, I have worked with a couple and will call em but other options are always good.

Kuwait is the lowest and works best for Chicago..
otherwise .. PIA sucks but it's direct.. so can't beat that..
expect to pay about $1000 .. karachi is lucky.. i have to pay like $1300 cuz i've to go to Lahore..

such is life mustn’t grumble, if there is trouble then I suppose I have to deal with it, although on my recent 4-5 international trips this year I have had no problems.

BA has a very good deal on rightnow to islamabad. Although, I am flying from Vancouver roughly on the same date as you. Check with them to see if they have something similar from Chicago...

my dad went to india and pakistan from PIA few weeks back and he paid 1020

Do not travel on Kuwait airways or any 14 hours direct flight for that matter. They are also bad when it comes to baggage handling. Karachi and Islamabad have it lucky. They can avoid PIA over something better because of greater number of airlines stopping there (mainly British air or Swiss air).

but you get 1 domestic ticket free in that price. Anyone flying to Lahore or Islamabad from USA is entitled to get a free domestic (2 way) ticket! 
oh and Fraudia, my friend’s wife just went to Karachi in first week of OCT and she paid 1000$ from NY to KHI (returned flight is confirmed for first week of DEC)
