Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Australia 241/2d (@7.53!) in the second innings, another bowling failure

Bowling has been a total disaster in this series

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

See the biggest problem starts with the body language of both fielders and bowlers. Its so dismal as if they are hating their lives. Such a big contrast between Aussies and us. Even Australian team dropped catches and missed obvious runouts but Pakistani players are more in disbelief and it feels like they are just passing time. Where is the passion and fighting spirit?

Now since first test the commentators and analysts were criticizing coach and captain for not playing Imran Khan. And he has been aweful. Few deliveries he did good in first inning but in second its like some extra bowler trying to bowl with face pace.

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

I think bowlers were new to the Australian conditions and did not have a good bowling coach that could guide them in the entire series.

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Aussie’s terror attack on Pakistani bowling…

Thrashed them like anything…Pakistami players for some reason seems to have no interest in this match…seemingly they want to get back to fishing…

Last but not least… @ehsan bhai should share the blame and should resogn from starting the thread or ban @SID_NY

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Australia’s 2nd innings of 241/2d in 32 overs had the highest R/R of any Test innings with over 100 runs - 7.53 per over!

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

its all Sid’s fault. :nahi:

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

What a true comment on cricinfo from a neutral observer:

Mark: “Aaarghh! Just tuned in and find they’ve lost 3 wickets and the night watchman has faced the most deliveries. As a neutral, and after all the issues they’ve had, I want to see Pakistan do well but they are so often the architect of their own demise. Big ups to all the Pakistan fans. It must be hard supporting such a talented team who are world-beaters when they put it together but so frustratingly inconsistent.”

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Wahabs cameo was entertaining, gaining approval from affable Lyon.

no comments!

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

It is sixth straight defeat in tests!!!

lets pick someone to blame!!! for me it is Ehsan Bhai

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Why not blame Trump?

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Naah spare him this time…we’ll blame him for ODIs

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

I just read the headline only, not the detail, that Misbah blamed bowlers for the defeat. Ok, Partially its true. But its ridiculous if Misbah didnt take the blame on himself. I mean comeon man, the whole team got out on a flat wicket in MCG in 56 overs. And you are blaming bowlers? Yes bowlers were not successful at all but both Melbourne and Sydney had perfect batting wickets.
And how about the dropped catches? It wasnt the bowlers with greesy hands.

And as i said, the worst thing is that team players have very negative body language. Its very likely that ODI series endup in a whitewash as well.

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Was Wahab given out on purpose?
I thought it was clearly NOT OUT, but Ian Gould just relied on the snicko and gave him out right away, biased umpiring

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

Damn, it looks like Hafeez and Shoaib Malik will be back for ODI.
There goes chances for any “youngsters”, i guess they will warm the benches.

just utterly disgusting how they keep playing these 35 yr old tired horses.

Re: Australia v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Sydney

btw, Smith was given OUT in exactly the same fashion…just the snicko! was that also a biased decision?
