we are back to the similar situation of last test and I'd say once again, Aussies continue the blast for first one hour and declare after that. DO NOT wait till lunch. Having a lead of 400 for India to chase in 2.5 sessions is a fair challenge.** If Indians have any balls** they'll go for it so it'll be a very interesting situation.
chalo theek hai Uncle. and yes forget soccer..you and i did beat that to death
honestly speaking ... you, I and ex-director jee all 3 of us are saying the same thing
1)yes india did face many borderline decisions going against them in this series
2) and that is why Indian shd have DRS which may prevent 70% of them
3) and yes Indian bowling is poor and could not deliver the knock out punch...despite
4)yes despite very strong indian batting line up
good weekend!
Whether there is D.R.S or not, when you have players who are not ready to give their 100%,you will feel handicapped with all these technological back-ups.
Indian bowlers murdered. It was treat to watch Aus batting. Even though wickets were falling at regular interval but they all were chipping in with quick fire scores. For most of the series, Indian team has sit back and wait for Aus to declare. Except for Ashwin though. He bowled really good (unlike what his stats tell)
Rahane & Kohli are the key for India to save/win the game. If they are at the crease by Tea, India might even win the game but if they are gone before that, dont expect the tail to play more than 10 overs on the pitch thats already spinning like Bangalore wicket
and India should reconsider DRS stance. I heard that Dhoni’s lame excuse not to accept DRS was that he did not like “umpire’s call”. You have to be fair to umpire and cut them a slack. Marginal decisions should go Umpire’s way as he is officiating and giving decisions in real time and should get credit for that.
btw series also underlines the saying that bowlers win you a test match. No matter how good is your batting, you still have to take 20 wickets. India’s batting lineup is perhaps better than Aussies but still it ends up on losing side.
Aus batting has deteriorated because in the first innings they scored 572 and in the second innings they could score just 251…Shows the improvement of Indian bowling and the pathetic nature of Aus batting. In the first innings they lost 7 for 500 and in the second innings they lost 6 for 250+ .It is only because of Indian bowling.
