Khan to Paine, no run, 86.9 mph, what happened there? Again movement away from Paine, he poked tentatively. Was there on edge on it? Dhoni did not collect cleanly as it died on him. A bit of noise as it passed Paine, but he did not seem to have got an edge. Replays suggest a really faint edge. So that is two drops from Dhoni today.

So, intense day of Test cricket that, if not the most frenetic. India started well, removing Katich cheaply, but they dropped a few catches to let Watson off. Ponting survived as well as Ishant bowled one no-ball too many, and those too seemed set to grind India out of the game. And then Raina produced a run out from nowhere to send Ponting back. Since then, India have clawed back, through some tight lines from Ojha and prodigious reverse swing for Zaheer. Watson saw it through with a resolute ton and has an important second day ahead of him.

Pathetic catching by India. Good bowling specially since Ishant wasnt really available. Wonder if he will be bowling tomorrow?

Neeed to get Watto out and run through the rest asap.

Great batting by Sehwag. If he had stayed till the end India would be 150 for sure. Time for Dravid and Sachin to build on this tomorrow and then Raina and Dhoni to bam bam to 500+.

If it wasnt for all those dropped catches India wouldve been miles ahead at this stage. Now the likely result seems a draw. Unless it spins a lot and Bhajji Ojha and Zak's reverse roll Aus over in the 2nd innings.
