Re: Aunty???

Wow, first of all i’m sorry decisions i made about MY life have upset you so much
seccond of all being the dumb naive girl that i am i chose to marry a man who doesn’t think of marriage as a women “sacrificing” her life for another person And finally “in the footsteps of becoming a mother” are you friggin kidding me, just because i chose to marry early doesn’t mean that i plan to start shooting out children 9 months after, apparently family planning has never been introduced to you.

Re: Aunty???

^ good answer!

Re: Aunty???

But it can be done. You just need to develop a reputation. Be firm, but fair. Give respect and demand it in return.

Ramsha – The same happened to me once I got engaged. My friends did it intentionally to tease me, but others began to do it regardless. I think it’s the marriage thing.

Re: Aunty???

it’s not their fault..that’s how us desis are raised. it’s not that they’re calling u an old person, they’re just trying to be respectful.

i used to do the same when i was around 15…i even did it here :snooty: but that’s cuz i was scared to get whacked by sum1 for disrespecting em so i thought aunty/uncle would be better :bummer:

Re: Aunty???

i have little kids calling me by name all the time, they r kids, who cares. But I love kids and they love me, so it doesn't really matter what they call me. And all you people insulting people who r calling people aunties/uncles, u shudn't be backbiting, and you shudn't be assuming what their motives r either...unless its blatantly obvious.

Re: Aunty???

I don't think there's any need to be offended by that term. Take it as respect and forget about it.

Re: Aunty???

well it gives you more authority than you should. so next time someone calls you aunty, turn the tables on them and act like one; beta zara wo laa do, beti yeh ker do… with a shabaash. Then you watch them run around for calling you aunty prematurely. :halo:

Re: Aunty???

LOL i love it.

Re: Aunty???

Ma Mooli Aunty has given her expert opinion.

Re: Aunty???

looks quite familier with the family planning…is it just me who think that the decesion of marrying at 20 doesnt sound with the teachings of a successful family planning. :snooty:
Have a break girl you dont even know what you are talking about. Relax, I m not saying that you did anything wrong. I would be glad if this remains your reply hence after 5 years of the incident.
