Need help… How are the weddings in August in Pakistan.

My brother got married in August everything was great. Weather is hot and humid but bearable , like someone mentioned above not as bad as June.

Depends on which city you have to go to.. Karachi would be warm and humid, Lahore would be damper and rainy and Islamabad cooler and rainy too

I had my wedding in khi in august. The weather was very pleasant and we even had the mehndi outdoors. However it is risky as it rains a lot in august.

I had my nikah in August in Isb.. Was still kinda hot but the worst of the heat was over with... i remeber requesting the hall people to have AC on for all the guests and despite the AC evry1 was still sweating in the evening!!

I cant imagine having an outdoor wedding... weather problems, birds, bugs.... too many things can go wrong in my opinion.

My cousin got married in August and the weather was horrible...she had 50 people show up on her walima out of 200 cuz the streets were flooded all over Karachi...this was back in 2007 but I have heard that they have made the severage system better in Karachi now....and apparently it doesnt flood anymore.

That was a time when we had excessive rains in Karachi, plus the sewerage system is much better now

me getting hithced in aug too inshallah and yes hot weather means u come back slimmer,,,so im goin to pak a uk size 12...hopefully il be back as a 10...yayyyyyy

just to let you know that inshallah i will be getting married in the last few days of july this summer or first week of august. It is the only time i can get off for holidays as am a school teacher. I will be honest even though the weather is hot you cope, i was out there for my engagement last summer in august. We live in faislababd and it is warm however we have air conditioning at home, the only problem is when the electricity goes but if you have a generator it is not a drastic problem. Good luck with plans either way.
