i'm hoping i get to see pics of the upcoming weddings , everything sounds beautiful .
@ jiwani , my mil bought and chose my mehindi dress , which i am thankful she let me choose both walima and shaadi gowns (thank god)
i haven't seen the mehindi dress she's bought for me but she tells me its a green/red combo with churidar. I really wanted the yellow/orange/pink combo for mehindi but since she allowed me the grace of picking my own walima (although they paid for it ) i'll have to grin and bear it .Dark Green and red for mehindi seems a lil outdated but i'm still looking forward to seeing the outfit she's chosen for me ...
my shadi dress is ivory extra long shirt with dark pink dupatta and lehenga
walima dress is light peach with black and gold trimmings
the only thing left for me to organise is find the right wedding DJ.MC

my mehindi is on the friday , shaadi saturday and walima sunday .. i wish they were spaced apart a bit more , it's going to be very intense !

o wow..his work is amazing! but i forgot to mention im in islamabad!all the good photographers seem to be based in lahore..inc.irfan ahson :(

apricot i dnt want to book any photographer who does photography on location bcoz my wedding venue dnt have ground or lawn for photoshoot n i dnt want photoshoot done in bridal room..n no time to go outside in parks for this purpose bcoz my nikkah is on the same say…so i prefered studio n found bhatti studio has best quality pictures..i booked them for digital album n they charged me 25000 for 10 pages digital album..
if u want some on location photographer
then i would suujest u sophia mustafa and niaz ali

Also, I suggest Junaid Syed Films, he takes some amazing pictures, he is sort of related to Irfan Ahson and only charged me 5000 PKR to travel from Lahore + their accomodation ! Amazing personality though!

They have a facebook page named Junaid Syed Films. I am at work and cannot link you the page from here but if you go type in the search bar, it would appear! His photography is getting like Irfan Ahson day by day and also he is upgrading a lot of his equipment :)

Hmmm..my photo session is going to be done in the bridal room of the lawn as we dont have time to go to the studio. Does it make any difference?

actually if photographer takkes picture in bridal room then its obvious thing that he is going to put artificial backgrounds in pictures..i m not fan of artificial backgrounds they dnt look real :)
thts y i dnt wana done my photosession in bridal room n i selected studio over this :P

dafodil thank u sooo much for your reply!ill check sophia and niaz ali out!!ur right abt the bridal room shoots…stuido shoot is waay better!my wedding will be at the khiva lawns ..so margalla hills r right behind their tent(marquee)…so i thought a couple of pictures there would be great!will talk to bhattis too!

How are you gonna manage the timings? I thought of going to the studio too but with the parlour and everything...I dont think there would be enough time for a studio shoot :( even the photographers I talked to told me that most couples prefer an on location shoot

yar my studio is at 10 min drive from parlor so it wont take time for me :)
