I’m in August insha Allah. And it hasn’t hit me yet. I feel like I should be shedding some tears, because these are the last two months I get to spend at home with my parents and sister, BUT, I just keep blocking the thoughts. I just hope I don’t explode at the Rukhsati! haha.
So how are you girls feeling? Excited, nervous, happy, stressed? I’m feeling ALL of that! But Alhumdulillah Also, how much more prep is left girls? What still needs to be booked? Any neat beauty routines that can be shared?
I still have my Mehndi photographer left to book, everyone's so busy :( If anyone knows a photographer for around $300-400 in the GTA, please give me their contact - please and thank you :) Other than that, everything else is booked, but the details still need to be done - still need to distribute the cards, start making the favours, order catering for the mayoun, get an appointment for wedding mani/pedi, and all that little annoying, yet important stuff..
Hey im a August bride too :) and yeah it seems SO far still have little things left here and there nothing major, in terms of Photographer I got OS photography hes pretty good note sure how much hell be for just mehndi i got a deal for mehndi and wedding as well as engagment shoot. But yeah i need to start making a list of all the small things closer to the date its difficult since ramadan is in July/August!
hey hey hey i'm an august bride too...most days im excited..but starting to block out the negatives in my brain..just starting to work on my skin now as the school year just ended... also going to start to exercise and going to finish of all the shopping.
I'm september bride too inshALlah .. im soo excited about starting my life with my habibi and im also super nervous but excited about seeing
the final results of my shaadi and walima dresses (both which i am choosing/designing myself , thankGod) . I think as august /september brides we all need to realise as our weddings are soon after Ramadan ends we realy need to make sure we dont over -eat at iftars .. i know i cannot afford ANY increase in my measurements .
I remember whinging about how much time i had till the wedding now i realise there is only approx 3 MONTHS TO GO AHHHHHHHHH inshallah it all goes smooth and beautifully . amen!

ahh same issuue with me i always put on weight in ramzan but but i thnk i have to dieting this ramzan even to maianatain myself...this is the main thng in my mind which upsets me..my skin is pimple free ALHAMDOLILAh..BUT in ramzan due to lace of water intake..i get pimples too...so this ramzan i will control my nerves for eating..n will drink a lot a lot water

shaadi: dusty cream/champagne long anarkarli with lehenga with some dark pink accents
walima: peachy orange long kameez with lehenga, gold embroidery , and black velvet trimming

hi, i am a september bride too :) i am pretty much sorted just waiting for my lengha to arrive so i can match jewllery etc. ... I have written about 7 lists of things i willl need after marriage. Has anyone got any suggestions of things that you would need to take??? bar the obvious like clothes, jewellery, underwear etc etc ...i am sure there was a list on here somewhere! i am planning to wear a grey long tail shirt with red dhakka pajama and red shirt... i am confused if silver gray and red would look nice or not ? i can also replace gray with purple ... i have one week time , please help me out ..
