I heard the same thing from an old unmarried guy here in Canada and he’s the first person from whom I’ve ever heard such thing and you’re the second one, but if it’s legit then why don’t majority of Muslims follow it? It was allowed during those times with certain exceptions and today we don’t find any situation like those and also not many examples of it during Hazrat Mohammad rule except one or two. I think people are using it as an exception so they can do whatever they want. The same guy I mentioned above brought something up which was completely bs that according to some verse in Quran even homosexuality is allowed in certain situations. That guy is religious who never misses his prayers and a gay also which we later found when he offered one of my friend. He also told us that if we make intention of ‘Jihad’ and convince any non Muslim girl on Islam then without marrying we can lay with her, so she’ll be a ‘War Booty’ for us and it’s halal.

The guy is a liar. Saying that homosexuality is acceptable by twisting around any ayah is apostasy and makes that person an apostate, not religious.

And what he said about slave girls is rubbish. You can only get a slave by capturing an enemy woman at war and the caliph decides who to give her to. Or he can decide to set her free as is encouraged in Islam. There was someone during the time of the sahabah who had sex with a slave before the caliph was to decide which soldier to give her to. The guy was stoned to death for adultery.
