Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

Who is this Tulsi? Lecture for or against marital rape?? I mean its wrong to hit your relatives or abuse them, so why is it ok for someone to rape someone in marriage. After marriage we don’t become one person otherwise they’d be no marriage issues.

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

Oh ok. It’s a movie. My bad.

Finding out how commonly it happens will be a hard task. Because people don’t report it that much compared to male-to-female rape.

I know that. But still, in general people condemn it and are disgusted by it.
But males being raped by females is still more of a taboo, even in the western world. It is taken lightly, or as a joke everywhere.

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

Why in that order? With this you are implying yourself that a male being raped by women (or by other men) is not as wrong (or not as traumatizing) as when a female gets raped.

See, somehow unconsciously we make ourselves guilty of this attitude.

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

You got me there. Aiho hi mera maqsad si.

Lol wth? Rape is rape sunshine, nobody gets preferential treatment because of their gender. Ironic that you are exhibiting the exact attitude which the thread is trying to discuss.

Waise really, biologically speaking, how can a female rape a man, assuming that rape actually means sexual intercourse where one partner is not ready?
In this case, the partner who is not ready needs to support an erection. It’s very hard (no pun intended) for men to have one when he is not ready.

Actually physical stimulation results in an erection and the even orgasm (for males and females) during rape. The principle being argued is consent, not stimulation.

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

@muqawwee: I was feeling awkward to give a reply, so I am glad Ghost did that.

But as you can read there are still misconceptions among people, and it is good to discuss it (and to educate) to clear those misconceptions.

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

Yes I’m all for this discussion. In morning, I read something about gang bangs being compared with Jiahad Al Nikah and now these all informative posts. Misconceptions should be removed :halo:

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

no sorry i think i expressed it wrongly. All rapes are equally bad and should be treated harshly. I meant that since i am guessing there are more female rape victims it is more of a prevalent/common issue that would need more resources towards it.

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

no that wasn’t the intention. All rapes are equally bad regardless of gender. I meant that in terms of how common the types of rape are i believe male on female is most common which is why it is seen as a bigger issue in our society and there are more resources towards it.

:waves: hi

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

now this post is a perfect paradox…trying for consent or stimulation :hmmm:

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

That’s not a paradox. The legal definition is consent lol.

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

tries not to make eye contact

Re: Attitudes towards male rape victims

Nooooo not the eye contact.Don’t do it Ghost. You will then get an insight into her soul. It will draw you in. That’s the first step.

Does the stimulation have to be physical or do you think it can be merely verbal and have similar effecr?
