Total value of the project is $300 Million and project consultants are Atkins, who also designed the Burj-al Arab in Dubai. The price of the land alone was U.S $110 Million (Rs. 6.6 Billion for app. 53 kanals).

The concept of the project will revolutiuonize Pakistan’s skyline for good. The uniqueness makes it arguably the eight structural wonder of the world.

It consists of a 30 storey hotel (applications received from Sheraton and Ritz Carlton), a 5 storey commercial mall, and on top of that: a 20 storey office space building, and two 20 storey residential buildings with luxury apartments.

I think the person that has spended 110 million dollars for land will make sure it is built . I mean 300 million dollars is no big deal for huge corporations. SO itsme01 let's have some faith and try to be supportive to nice things. I think it will be a great land mark.

There are a lot of projects coming up in Pak.. Not sure if they will be built.
For example, there is supposed to a be a beautiful tower to be built along the Karachi coast called Karachi Port trust buildcing. But its been put on hold.
Still, Pakistan seems to slowly be developing a genuine skyline.

Of course it is going to be built!! They are just waiting for the CDA to approve their designs before construction will begin, any day now. They have paid a HUGE amount to lease the land out for a reason!! If this was being built by some pakistani company, yes I would also say it will never be built, but thankfully this has been outsourced. They raised the cost of their project by like $70 million in order to make it more earthquake proof. They have already paid many of the payments down for the land, construction to start any day now! You can tell from the pictures where it will be constructed as you can see faisal mosque in one picture. Basically in front of PIMS off of Islamabad High way. This has been published in the newspapers many times but this is the first I've seen the actual picture. Cant wait for it to be finished!
