I admired him though because people were pretty rude to him for 2 reasons:

1. They had been wanting Atif on the stage for a long time and they kept bringing other artists. The way they introduced who was coming on stage, people thought it’s Atif but their bubble busted when Kailash showed up

2. He sang more songs than people (already ticked off because Atif wasn’t coming) could take.

But he completely ignored the idiots and kept going with a smile on his face :k:

Was there any involvement from Rehan Siddiqui in this concert?

Not that I know of. His radio station 1180 AM is advertising the Amitab concert later in August while the other desi station 1320 AM was advertising for this Atif Aslam concert. They never mentioned the other station’s concert.

Now, I am not in Dallas anymore, I’ve heard that Rehan has been kicked out of Dallas and is back in Houston. He had to run from Houston to Dallas and is back in Houston?

In anycase, don’t compare Pakistani melas to Indian melas. Pakistani melas are ‘no-holds barred’ melas. The organizers are at fault and if you feel compelled then I suggest you stand up and take some community based action. You can do it. It’s how you feel about making yourself heard even if you can’t affect future events.

Yes, he has moved back to Houston and now owns/operates 1180 AM. That station used to host desi shows for a few hours during the day but he purchased it (I guess) and it’s 24/7 desi station now.

He sure is a smooth-talker and a star among female listeners. The guy toots his own horn a bit too much in my opinion and his co-hosts (females only) also admire him a lot and always address to him as “The president and the CEO”
