people dont pay to gp to concerts and act all proper..
You are suppose to be loud..break rules..and dont make lines..and just block other people's view because you paid the money as well.

Over all I think it was silly of you to pay the VIP ticket...you could have just asked any of us houston people and I bet they would have advised you to just buy the $15 ticket.

Like someone else has said..I dont go to the concerts..i just go to melas..where you dont have to pay this much..and everyone pays about the same so there is no i paid a lot more than you so i deserve the better view.

I think that would be great. Even if you guys don’t get the money back, to ridicule him by taking him to the court would hopefully teach him a lesson.

I was talking to the security office who was standing at the front of the line before they started letting people go up and he was pretty upset with the organizers too. He apologized and said normally the management tells us that VIPs have to go through a different entrance but for this event they didn’t mention anything. Also, it was 8 p.m. and he said that they were working on the sound system as it had some trouble…he also added that normally for an even this big, the management makes sure that everything is set-up before noon but that doesn’t seem to be the case for this event.

I should have, but now I’ve learned a lesson first hand and I will remember it for a long time. I wasted money on the VIP tickets (7). Anyway, do they have melas in Houston? If they do, what kind? and when do they have those? i.e. 14th August etc.?

It doesn't have to be an opera, I would go to any NON-Desi event and find it much better than a desi event. I have yet to find quality service provided by desis.

Yes, family just left. I am so tired that I can crash any time.

well we have melas for pretty much everything...i think even today there is some kinda mela for memorial day..i think its called movie mela or something..its hosted by rehan siddiqui..so it wouldnt be all tht much
yeah we have like 3-4 melas for 14 august..last yr sajjad ali came..and before tht shehzad roy came..and they are a lot better then these concerts that we have..

All the housework is take care of. We went out to eat and just came back after the family departed from the restaurant.

Movie night was last night - I also listen to that radio station every evening while driving home from work. The guy talks too much and I understand he has to mention when he's giving away something free, but in my opinion, he goes overboard when telling others that he's giving it away for free. Oh and I called him once, live, and he said he was going to give me 2 tickets but didn't mention how I would go about getting them and I thought he would transfer my call to the operator so I could give my information but he hung up. I never called back to find out about the tickets as I didn't really care much.

Anyway, if you know of any gatherings during the summer (well exact dates and times), please let me know. We are trying to go out and make new friends here as we only know one couple in Houston.
