pretty bad. Make up plus their attitude,** quite rude** I must say. We also went for the siffat package as your cousin and it wasn't anything wonderful.
It's sad that they dont put any hard work into it and have a very careless attitude because they really can do it. I had siffat do my bridal make up 5 years back and she did a good job. So it's not that they 'can't' do a good job, it's just that they don't want to. Most of the good parlours have their names established so they just dont care anymore.
i think thats precisely it . they are just careless with things even though my cousn told me she was only one of the 3 brides so thats not much to handle. anyway i dont know how u make these people do better . its so annoying when ur not given the service u pay for especially when the person's capable .sigh
hey i had my walima done from madeeha and barat by shahzad, at madeeha i had siffat do it coz my mom in law was really into her make up but she just did an ok job, not bad every body said i looked very pretty but i dint enjoy the look too much mayb i wanted to wow myself like on barat. on barat had my makeup by senior artist st ather shahzad with touch ups by shahzad himself and OMG, i sooo loved it so did the rest of my family, it was back in jan 2008 , i paid 25000 for it, and shahzad did do alot of my eye makeup and applied the lipstick himself, but the best part about my makeup was the base with just the right amount of shimmer which gives u a glow without making u shiny and chamkeela...so loved it, dont know whats going on aaj kal though? hope they keep up the standard...after all we pay them insane amounts!!

girls, went to ather shehzad studios yesterday. Whats with these people having an air about themselves..the manager went on blabbering about how they are the trend setters n fashion divas while I kept insisting on checking out the portfolio (which was never shown to me since they are the best and i am supposed to take it as they tell me). I kept asking for portfolio on red bridals specifically cos thats the tricky one but she was insistent i go on reputation (pay n not even get client servicing?). When i said what about Shehzad brides looking gr8 in photoshoot but too sharp on stage, she replied :oh ppl just talk :O i would have expected her to ward off my fears dude!
Also she said the charges would be jacked upto 60k right after Eid since season would start. Prolly it was just before that I got to know abt gold prices going on an all time high that made me go like..yeh wtever....anyways il run a final check with medeehas and decide btw her n allenora.

anyway check maryam khawaja in gulberg next to fantasies.. she take 25 with services. just dont like allenora and madeeha's too has lost its touch
OMG..! i went to check their prices in sept and it was 50,000 by shahzad and since the function was on the 3rd day of eid, they charged an additional 10,000
Those are insane prices! I think you should check out other MUA's Lahore as well. No need to spend that much on makeup only. Atleast, you can wear the dress again!
so my cousin on here is looking at them for her bridal makeup, I think on her wedding day i may want to have my makeup done but since i'm just a guest i figured i would just get a lower person to do it. do yall recommend that? i figured it's my first trip to pakistan and i may as well enjoy the experience with some pampering rather than doing my own makeup. Do yall have any recommendations about other salons in lahore that are good but not nearly that pricey bc that hurt my eyes.
The makeup at athar shehzad is done by his senior makeup artist shehzad raza....i think he takes 40k for that....although the fotoshoot (if thats included in ur package) is done by athar himself.....the makeup by shehzad is veryyy nice n natural :) one of my frnds got her makeup from shehzad n it was beautiful n natural...no heavy base nothing....n no change of features....she looked lovely :)
the rates go down when the makeup is done by his female assistants....which i think are quite capable too...but i havent seen any of their brides!
but being in lahore....chk out from madeehas....all her brides which i hav seen as yet were beautiful! while in case of allenora...i hav seen many variations!
I would vote for Mariam Khwaja! Or maybe perhaps,** Maram and Abroo*. Just don't think prices of 'Ather Shahzad*' are worth it! even if the makeup is flawless!
They charge 60.000 rs just for make up without sevices
I spoke to them yesterday..
and 60,000 rs for only bridal pics at their salon/studio.
