Any one gotten their bridal photoshoot by Ather and Shahzad? Lahore and munna Mushtaq
I need to know Persoal Experience and reviews of Brides who got their pics and other photo packages by them? their costs?
Any pics if posted would also really help.

Honestly, 60,000 pkr is overkill and way too overpriced. Am sure there are much better values out there.

ather shahzad is charging 60k for comlete makeup by him.
55k for everything minus the base,
50k for just eye makeup by him .
25k by senior artist

i finally booked mariam khawaja for barat on prototype's recommendations! :)
i decided it's better to get signature makeup rather and be treated a little exclusively than being made by a bunch of snobbish assistants with a line of brides there at Athar Shahzad. the lady at the counter was very accomodating and was very friendly. And I managed to inspect alot of girls' bases who had come for party makeup. I would say none of them looked cakey. :) the albums showed pretty nice makeup ..quite natural.
So wish me luck..i hope things go ok IA :)
She's charging 26k currently but after Ramadan they would be taking 30 + .

^ is that a pic from meesha's own wedding? cuz her jewellery is the same ... anyways ... i think she looks so much better w/o all that makeup.
they are all in the air about themselves because theu have foreign-based clientelle. when i went to them back in december ... she went on and on about how my skin looks awful (it didnt look awful, it was just a bit climatic-difference-struck and got a bit tanned with all the walking in the sun :()and how i should completely trust them. they dont have a portfolio becuz they dont want to break the trust of their clients ... it's the clients who dont want to have their pics shown. instead she just showed me pics from a magazine.
also of how people come only to them when they go to lahore. and the entire family gets their makeup done from them.
so. basically. they have people who pay them what they ask for. so thats the problem. even when i talked about my friend who got her makeup done from them, she started talking all arrongtly about my friend's sister who was her best friend .. and how even she was given no discount. so yea.
they only serve to people with mOney

Farrah these places are crazy...you know when i went to Kawar Raiz's place and his sister showed me his work and gave me the pricing and everything...at the end she told me that over all i m in ok shape but i shld do some chin exercises...so by the wedding time my face will be picture ready.
compare to them^, Ather shahzad was great...they didn't have a portfolio to show me his work...BUT they had few ablums ready for a client to pick up and well she showed me all those (four of them)...his work is really nice.

I think it's so strange that these big-name MUA don't have portfolios. If you wanna respect the brides' privacy then make your own portfolio by paying for the models and doing their makeup and whatnot.
Magazines are not a portfolio. -_-

He is not the only one. There are many photographers and MUAs in Lahore who can do good work.

^ i didn't like his photographer at all...the poses were all same...i booked Afzl for photoshoot...for barat
I LOVE farrah's wedding photography...and had told my inlaws to book them for valima (make up n photoshoot) :)

Ather Shahzad are charging 60k for bridal makeup (by Shahzad of course).
i always wasted to have him for my shoot and makeup, but recently my sister's friend got married and had her makeup and shoot done by him. And i am so confused now, because she told me her pictures are amazing and album was really nicely done BUT she was not looking nice on the stage, her makeup was picture perfect but not on the stage, looked like she had layers on her face :(((((((((, now i dont know what to do since i didn't look into anyone else other than him.

actually i only know few names from this forum for lahore, and people around me have no interest about pakistani weddings, so far he seemed to be very famous here....:(
