Atheism

Re: Atheism

So Evolution theory negates presence of God?

It promotes or confirms atheism?

Re: Atheism

This is the example of logically directed act, and not just following something without thinking and discussing.

Science has millions similar situations.

**
Even scientists don't have consensus if Evolution theory is true or just a dream of few idiots among them.**

Re: Atheism

Your inference in bold appears to be a byproduct of ignorance and malice.

First of all all muslims have a consensus that one should clean his/her mouth thoroughly.

Secondly, all have consensus that miswak can be used during fast too (notice your ignorance was about the whole month of ramzaan - the discussion was about during the period when one is fasting).

Thridly, those who opt out brush and toothpaste during one is fasting do it with the intention of carefulness. They do not declare that fast becomes invalid by using it. It's just recommended in their advice not to use it and prefer miswak.

Kind of like, Command line users will not advise using GUI even though it works out fine though slow. It's more of a preference issue. That much is how Islam is flexible in contrary to the Islam bashing propaganda machines.

Re: Atheism

y so angry?

post something to support your lousy statement which is just a reflection of your ego and desire to be correct.

evolution is found in every scientific text and literature (wherever applicable)

try opening up those books and articles sometime ; )

Re: Atheism

Angry?

I am sorry if you do not have desire to be correct. Very obvious by your posts.

But yes I do.

Jannaan is among those who think Evolution theory is against God/promotes atheism, but there are believers of Evolution who think Evolution does not negate presence of God.

I asked same question in other related thread.

Very amused by the attitude of some confused people. :hehe:

Re: Atheism

At least three species from the human family Homo may have lived together in Africa almost two million years ago, new research has suggested.
One of them, Homo erectus, is thought to be the most likely direct ancestor of people living today.
The others most probably came to an evolutionary dead end, experts believe.
Between 2007 and 2009, three new fossils were unearthed from a site near Lake Turkana in Kenya - known as the “cradle of mankind”. They included a face, a near-complete lower jaw, and part of a second lower jaw.
Combined with a mysterious fossil known as “1470” found nearby four decades ago, they confirm the existence of a human species with a large brain case and long, flat face.
The fossils appear to be distinct both from Homo erectus and Homo habilis, another primitive species from the same era.
Before the new discoveries, experts had tentatively named the 1470 species Homo rudolfensis.
Dr Meave Leakey, co-leader of the Koobi Fora Research Project (KFRP) in Kenya, one of the scientists whose findings are published in the journal Nature, said: "For the past 40 years we have looked long and hard in the vast expanse of sediments around Lake Turkana for fossils that confirm the unique features of 1470’s face and show us what its teeth and lower jaw would have looked like.
“At last we have some answers.”
Co-author Professor Fred Spoor, from University College London, said: “Combined, the three new fossils give a much clearer picture of what 1470 looked like. As a result, it is now clear that two species of early Homo lived alongside Homo erectus. The new fossils will greatly help in unravelling how our branch of human evolution first emerged and flourished almost two million years ago.”

Re: Atheism

Wow fight between Atheists and Theists is always interesting to us Agnostics. Good going guys! :shireen:

Re: Atheism

what do you think?

Re: Atheism

well, Agnostics are more closer to Atheist in the sense that they do not believe that absolute Power resides by God, which is essentially saying that God does not matter if he is there or not. So an Atheist is Agnostic but Agnostic may or may not be an Antheist

Re: Atheism

Please watch this.. Dr. Israr telling the difference between Physical and Spiritual existence. He is endorsing the big bang, evolution, and modern sciences..

Dr. Israr Ahmed on Evolution, Big Bang and Modern Science Part 1 of 9 - YouTube

On the other hand watch your guru Mr. Zakir Naik.. the literal Religionist-Islamist and his knowledge of sciences.. and his frequency and fluency of lying..

Zakir Naik on Evolution-Awesome - YouTube

Zakir Naik’s views are more or less in line with your opinions. His way of twisting the facts is more or less the same like you. The same can be said about Harun Yahya whom you quote so proudly. In my opinion these EDITED can impress only an audience with very little knowledge of science. These literal Religionist like you have a totally lost case which they are trying to defend..

Re: Atheism

Peace yazdi

Please can you refer to the parts that you want me to watch … And for your information, I am closer to Dr Israr by belief and by family than Dr. Zakir Naik … The latter is Salafi. Dr. Israr was Deobandi … The fiqh I follow is this too … However, I also follow a Sufi tariqah which may seem like I’m closer to Barelvis at times.

Dr. Israr is my tayya’s wife’s mamoon … So I have a lot of respect for him. I also have a lot of respect for Dr. Zakir Naik, but fundamentally disagree with some of his positions and approach.

My problem with evolution stems actually from my learnings of 'aqeedah and my need as a person of science to understand how things work … Evolution has not got the substance in it that tells me how it works, which is the cause of my dissent.

Re: Atheism

Little offtopic but I am barelvi muslim and I enjoyed tafseer of quran By Dr.Israr Ahmad.......
