From something as dreadful and tragic as the 9-11 attacks that cast a dark shadow on Islam, it is surprising that so many people converted to Islam, the faith saw an an acceleration of converts whereas many may have expected the opposite.

…yeah and multiply that by 1000 and you get the number of apostates. Of course, who in their right mind would actually openly confess to leaving Islam when it is punishable by death at the constitutional level. There are countless websites and social networking groups that allow apostates to form some sort of a support group. But why would you ever pay attention to that? Let us all believe in propaganda we get fed everyday…it is easier that way, innit?
