Very sad for the country of Pakistan, most of the countries above Pakistan have 1/3 of the population as us.
India is currently at no. 7 but may descend to 9th as the two gold in athletics r in danger due to positive dope testing.
Pakistan is at No. 22 in 44 countries. That too is due to boxers . other wise .... Too bad.

Asian Games 1,500 metres gold medallist Sunita Rani of India tested positive for the banned drug nandrolone for a second time when she won the 5,000 metres bronze, sports officials said.
Rani appeared at a hearing in Busan yesterday, where she was told of her second positive doping test - two days after she had denied taking drugs.
“I did nothing wrong and I have never used any banned drugs,” she said after the hearing with the Olympic Council of Asia Medical Commission.
Indian chef de mission Jagdish Tytler said that following the two positive A samples, an examination of her B samples would be conducted in Seoul tomorrow.
On Sunday, Tytler told reporters Rani had said she had never used any drug, although she had been taking medication for liver problems for several weeks.
Rani won her 1,500 metres gold on Thursday and took the bronze in the 5,000 on Saturday.
Rani, who also won a silver and bronze at the 1998 Bangkok Games, will be stripped of her Pusan medals if the positive results were confirmed. Tatiana Borisova of Kyrgyzstan won the 1,500 metres silver behind Rani.
The loss of her gold medal would drop India to eighth place in the Asian Games medals table, with 10 golds and 12 silvers, ceding seventh place to Taiwan, which won 10 golds and 17 silvers.

That doesn't say anything, why do the countries above Pakistan have lesser population but produces more athletes to win gold medals.
I heard they were trying to get cricket as also one of the events for the next ASIAD games in Qatar.
