Is workplace considered public place? Malls and all i dont have problem with but i think its unprofessional and disrespectful to speak urdu when there are other people in the office and they cant understand what two other people are saying, just doesnt seem right.
I do talk in urdu on the phone though.

I have met and seen people that a PURE paki but yet do not feel comfortable in speaking urdu. Good thing some ppl here admitted here that they don’t and some they do.

Yes its rude if someone is standing close to you and you start talking in your own language - they would feel you are hiding something from them.
hamari ami sab ke samne dantana shuru ho jati hai - usually us siblings we speak in english and ami ji ka para high ho jata hai - but yeah we totally understand where she is coming from. Shukar hai we all can speak urdu fluently my brother can speak punjabi to perfection as well lol- I can understand it but the moment i open my mouth and speak punjabi people start cracking up…
