You guys are talking about people who are on a completely different level of society. Every billionaire, including a man who was once the richest man in the world, was at their shaadi- so with oil and steel tycoons ( billionaires,not millionaires), i doubt the absence of a giddah shahrukh or even more giddah ghundah salman really makes a difference to them. And as for any one following their traditions, i respect that, hindu or muslim or christian. As for pakistani brides who’s boobs are sticking out with no dupatta covering, tacky gold dipped jewelry with fake colorful plastic beads, and are wearing sleeveless to their own wedding- what culture are they following (and she was covered in head to toe REAL diamonds, because she is also the model for the biggest asian exporter of diamond jewelry)? The fact that aishwarya- former missworld, actress,model, L’oreal spokeswoman (only desi one ever in history), Coke model, and all the other many respectable titles that she has earned- is still down to earth enough to listen to her parents and follow and respect their traditions is commendable and that is why Allah gave her the position she is in today and not every aisha, sania, and nadia the same.
I have met and taken pictures with aishwarya. She is gorgeous and this is with no makeup, getting on a plane at six in the morning. I have beautiful relatives and friends who are indian, pakistani, arab and every other nationality and have never seen or will see a woman that looks like her. So keep your assumptions and petty jelousies to yourself and until you have met her and can contest to the fact that you or anyone you know looks better than her- okay.
