You are right, enough guns & ammo in civilian hands … and damage it has caused … but of all the damage, killing and murder, I have not seen the one that happened in Lahore where in open day light in front of camera, PMLN Gunda ‘Gullu Butt’ leading state police bringing havoc, beating, brutally injuring and killing at point blank with straight fire, scores of innocent unarmed civilians, women, children, old men, young and even pregnant women (firing at her face and chest).
If you do not like weapon and ammu in the hands of civilians … then what about weapon and ammu in the hands of state getting used to killed unarmed civilians brutally?
When state starts using weapon and ammu to kill unarmed peaceful innocent civilians brutally then civilians have every right to pick up arms to protect themselves from state murderers and also to get rid of them.
I am born in Karachi, my family is living in Karachi since 1946 … and I saw discrimination and killing of Karachiets too … Ayub punishing Karachi for supporting Fatima Jinah killing few in process, Bhutto punishing Karachi because Karachi voted him in big numbers still he wanted to crush Karachi using discrimination and state power, BeNazir punished Karachi killing many because she wanted to do ethnic politics and divide Sindh to rule, Nawaz punished Karachi killing many because Karachi never voted him … now what you want? with all this state discrimination and brutality, there would be no reaction?
No one wrote or said that revolution would be ideal situation … but when two penny Gunda ‘Gillu Butt’ of murderer Shahbaz Shareef whom SS calls ‘Shair of Lahore’ … leads hundreds of armed Police including SSP … and attacks a civilian residence brutally injuring and killing many including women, children, old and young men … something in such way had not even happened to Muslims in India … not even glimpse of that happened during worse of Zia-ul-Haq dictatorship … then what you want?
Civilians lie down on road and let themselves slaughtered in the hands of state, Gundas and Police joined together? … Just because their life is worthless … or … just because Pharaohs of Pakistan likes that.
A country where ‘Pharaoh’ daughter of Pharaoh Shahbaz Shareef beat up unarmed sweeper of a bakery brutally using state police and then kidnapped him using policemen to beat him more … just because sweeper told her that bakery is close, employees of bakery who can serve her are not there, and he cannot serve as he is not employee there to serve? …
Then you have words to say that in such country, you want that civilians living under continuous threat of not only getting robbed (treasury and country’s land and resources getting ransacked) by Pharaohs but Pharaohs using state machinery brutality beat them and kill them … still, civilians do not even pick up arms to defend themselves and teach the pharaoh of the land lesson?
Certainly I do not agree with your wish here, that one should live in a country as animals and slave just because they are civilians … and bear all cruelties and atrocities of state just because Pharaoh rules them.
As far as I am concerned, it is Islamic duty and jihad of every Muslim to fight such Pharaohs and their machinery of state brutality (judiciary, police, bureaucracy, and private gundas) with their life, property and all might … until these Pharaohs get hanged. state brutality ends, and civilians get freedom from such elements ruling them.
I am pretty sure that in this good jihad (not so-called jihad of Taliban who instead of fighting ‘brutality of state’, are fighting Pakistan armed forces and killing innocent civilians) state army, who are people too and strong enough to resist and punish Pharaoh rulers of the land would side with people … and fight side by side with people.
