Just because something is "established" doesn't mean they are above and beyond every law, and immune to criticism. This is not a good excuse, and it is precisely the attitude that's turned army into a completely untouchable institution. Ironically people who oppose army's power and sacredness have no problem seeing TV channel (s) becoming the next Kingmaker. Why the double standards?
There's a case pending against Geo which has nothing to do with recent couple of days old blasphemy controversy.
Neither I want Geo banned nor I'm sitting here with a crystal ball in front of me to tell you what will happen to them. I was merely refuting the belief that just because something is established it cannot be challenged or every organisation, every personality is a complete and untouchable institution on its own, as oppose to just being a part of something much bigger.
Questioning the Election commission is not an attack on democracy. Criticising an army general is not a rejection of army. Disapproving a TV channel is not an assault on media! It's about time Pakistanis realise this.
I dont think anybody objected on criticizing Geo, but not sure in which democracy or progressive society these forceful actions are taken before even its proven in court of law.
bas baat yeh hai key geo ko ISI se panga kaafi mehnga paR gaya, soch samajh kar bolna chahiye thaa, ISI ney game hi palat di hai lol, ab jo bhi kareiN gai ulta hi hou gaa geo ke saath lol....
