These Mullahs are feasting on halwa right in the capital at this moment. Eating halwa is no cirme, but they continue to spread lies. That is clearly treasonous and anarchist behavior that should be punished right away. If we let this disease fester, these Mullahs will do more Burqa-ghazi on the nation.
It makes me mad that Aaj and other media continue to call them “Ullu-ma Karaam” even when everyone knows that they are lying through their teeth.
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
The lust for power and glory of these "ulema" knows no bound. They have a great deal for them in these madrasas. They get huge tracts of lands for free (legally and illegally), get to lord over thousands of brain-washed people, get lots of money and adulation, get to make their own laws. Has anyone noticed the size of the Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa compund? The advanced communication equipment, weapons? But that was not enough and they were wanting to occupy more and more land. No wonder these mullas considered themselves as a separate state. They practically were. Now these wafaq mullahs want this because there is so much easy money and power available.
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
Could you please give example. It is sad that people pick the word mullah and associate every Aalim with that and start hiting them with the same stick.
Btw do you even know what wafq-ul-Madaris is. Its not a jihadi tanzeem or a political party. Its a Board of Islamic Education (like a university board or Board of Intermediate Education in Karachi) which regulates the course work of all the Madrassas in Pakistan and grant them Sanad (degree) when they graduate. The only connection they had with Jama-Fareedia and Hafsa was that these Madrasas were registered with Wafaq-ul-Madaris (Wafaq revoked the registration earlier this year after aunty Shamim incident happened)
Please do a reality check and back it up with examples if needed, before you start your accusations.
Also, Aaj tv is rightly calling them Ulema because they are. Mufti Taqi, Mufti Rafi, Maulana Salimullah are wel respected Ulema. They dont require our our approval to be called that
Another clarification. "HALWA" is sarcastically associated with Barelvi Maulanas (as they believe in Nazr, Niaz, Urs, Koonday etc). Wafaq-ul-Madaris is a borad of Deobandi Madrasas (and they are against this belief of Barelvi Ulemas). As I said, we need to do a reality check before we say something
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
so lets cut through the minutia, titles and halwa aside.
if they are spreading false information, then that needs to stop. A lawyer can be disbarred for conduct against regulations/code and not befitting his profession, same happens to doctors, engineers, accountants etc.
So, if Ulema are unknowingly spreading false information then they should ahve teh discipline to first know the facts, They should cease and should investigate and publically retract all the false statements.
If the are knowingly spreading flase information, then their own authority giving them designations of mufti etc needs to intervene, investigate, and suspend. In addition to all the steps in previous paragraph.
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
I think the 'ulemas' who are giving false statements are as liar as governments have been, they are just as criminals as the governments have been. Our governments (current and past) give false statements all the time, I agree the so-called "ulemas" shouldn't be indulging in such, but then the governments should also be 'honest' and 'truthful' to its citizens. To me currently, they are all the same criminals in different faces.
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
Guys, with due respect, who are these Ulema's we rereferring too. I am following as much as everyone and I did not see any ulema lying about anything. There is nothing to lie about. Everyone knows what is going on. Can some one help me on pointing out the ulemas or what they said

Lets start with the very first ulema: Abdul Aziz Ghazi, Abdul Rashid Ghazi... I am sure you know about their lies already... let me give a kick start: only 14 guns, 30 militants are fighting from inside the mosque/jamia.
Re: Arrest these “Wafaq-ul-Madari” Mullahs who are spreading lies
For further details please read here on what non-combatant ulema are saying about the ‘negotiations’ and how the ‘govt’ failed, no blame at all on the Ghazi wah wah.
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
What about the mullah Shah Abdul Aziz? On Geo he was shown crying and shedding crocodile tears when he was stopped from entering Lal Masjid and saving women and children (the clip is in the media section BTW). Then he finally gets a chance to part of the negotiating team and then tells mullah Ghazi "Datay Raho". Encouraging him to fight and not surrender. Where did his concern for women and children go? Why were all these mullahs so eager to go there in person when Ghazi was already in touch with them and all and sundry over his 80 phones?
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
14 guns? I am waiting for some mullahtic loony to bring up ghaibi imdaad from farishtay. They may already be talking about it in their inner circles.
The liar was initially claiming that he only had a few licenced pistols! His weapons must be going through some devine transformation and multiplication.
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
OK I understand everyone's point. The post started by blaming "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs. Maulana Abdul Aziz or Abdul rashid were not "Wafaq-ul-Madari" officials.
I want to know what "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs said.
To Captain1
About that Dawn article linked, its not that those Mulla's lying, its that YOU THINK that they are lying. Did that article say somewhere that they are lying. They even said “We differed with the modus ope***** adopted by the Ghazi brothers but we were in agreement with their cause for reconstruction of demolished mosques and Islamisation of the society". Isn't that blaming them?
Mufti RafiUsmani even said that we are not going to call Abdul Rasheed a shaheed because we dont know his niyat. If his niyat was right then he was shaheed, at the same time if the Rangers who got killed, if there niyat was right then they are shaheed (Muft Usmani's words, not mine)
To Aju
Who is Shah Abdul Aziz you are talking about. Where is that link cause I heard of only one Abdul Aziz (one of the Ghazi brothers). What is the title of that clip you talked about

I agree that the article doesn't really say that they are lying, it would've been easier had govt shared 1st draft and 2nd drafts with media. Ulema backing a deal for safehaven for a terrorist, tells a lot about how they are just as 'you scratch my back I scratch yours" as other politicians in the game.

look at post #43
“Today, on Capital Talk it was announced that, Mr. Usmani (I am seriously sick of using these titles Maulana - they’re not official titles anyway - my crazy loud Hispanic neighbors could give themselves Maulana titles, and what will you do?) - actually asked the government to get some of these Ulema out of the way because they were doing more damage than harm by egging on Ghazi. One of these Ulema who was present in the last set of negotiations is quoted to have, and also admitted on TV, said to Ghazi “Keep your stand”. Of course, he used an Urdu word - started with a D - my relatives had to translate it for me.”
"Guy’s name is Shah Abdul Aziz. He is a former Taleban commander. He admitted to having said those words when Abdul Rasheed told him that he has only two choices, surrender or martyrdom..and then said that the humiliation my brother had to face after getting captured gives him no reason to surrender. Abdul Aziz responded by saying that if this is your decision then “datay raho”
Re: Arrest these "Wafaq-ul-Madari" Mullahs who are spreading lies
it was stupid on the part of govt to involve these ulemas who cant even accomplish something as basic as finding eid ka chand. ulemas had one goal which was to get ghazi released which govt was never going to agree upon. by using ulemas, govt tried to cover all bases but failed. ulema supporters wont support musharraf even if he comes up with cure for cancer. moreover prolonging negotiations at the end may have needlessly put the lives of our sipahees in danger.
