for me, arranged marriage wouldve been a last resort....ive had many proposals through parents...but ive rejected them all...
so you tell me why you want to have an arranged marriage rather than love? im sorry but the idea of spending the wedding night with a stranger/someone i dont love....seems rather low. i dont understand how 2 complete strangers have kids exactly 9 months after marriage. and to be honest in most arranged marriages...the couples are strangers to each other at the beginning.....thats the reason u mentioned u start to get to know each other from then. so basically you're gettng married and sleeping with a guy who you dont even know....
i never said that i wanted an arranged marriage btw... nor did i say i was against it. I just dont see anything wrong with either one. Both can work (or not work).
In case u dont realize this....you really dont know who you are marrying til u are actually married to that person and have lived with him/her for many years. Unfortunately people have a strange way of changing once they get what they want. Scary i know....but its a fact. Before marriage a person can easily fake their personality and be or act like someone they arent. When they get you....it's a whole new ball game. It is possible you know. This can happen in both types of marriages.
Marriage is a gamble no matter how u play it.
