I don't think it is healthy debate and don't compare Pantagon and US with Pakistan. Pantagon is under President/Vice President. They never dare to challenge their bosses on key issues and decisions unlike Paki army with the history of kicking out legal democratic governments.
I did not remember the name of top general who spoke on some policy matter, was immediately kicked out by US president.
Obviously there is no direct comparison between the institutions of Pak and US. Anyone assuming that fallacy is clearly out of line.
However in this particular case, Pak army and other groups are much more "civilized" in the debate. That's all.
