If you are not ready to accept Baloch Mir Chakar as hero, then accept Baloch thought of calling Abdali or sub-continent's people thought of calling Ghaznavi looters. This would be more equitable.
Dont insult word hero. I told you that there is difference between hero and warrior. Not every warrior is hero and not every hero is warrior. You are so dim that i have to repeat my example again. Aitizaz hassan was a hero and hakimullah mehsud was a warrior. Now spot the difference between two, if you are picking up my words.....as for as my inspirational heroes are concerned, they are perhaps in hundreds, on the top of list is Holy Prophet p.b.u.h and after that a long list , majority of whom in the initials are arabs by race.

i live in balochistan pakistan, in balochistan baloch people consider mir chakar rind and all the khan of kalat's heros like mir samandar khan mir abdullah khan mir noori naseer khan and so on but not ghaznavi ghori suri abdali or nadir shah baloch call them dakos and looters
@marwati lets agree to disagree. I don't have an issue of being dim / dim witted, but trust me if mir Chakar is villain than it would be just to call Ghaznavi and Abdali as looter.
PS: I don't think that only Arabs produced heroes in human history.

what about Muhammad bin Qasim?

You are indeed dim, you have comprehension problems. For instance i said that in "my" list of heroes, there are hundreds, the top being Holy prophet p.b.u.h. But despite of my very simple english, you assumed that i am declaring that only arabs are heroes in the world history. Pay attention and read posts with concentration. I was talking about my personal list, not yours or some body's else. You insist on calling Mir chakar rind a hero, thats fine, but then dont confront me repeatidly as why i am not declaring a hero (even though i wrote a para after para explaining to you what is hero, who is hero, why he is not hero, why some one else is not hero, who are the examples of hero, what is grey character)
Irrespective of the ethnicity, any courageous man with good intention to do some thing great and good , is hero in general. But even a very bad person is capable of doing heroic and extraordinary deed.
but who ask you to bring your personal list and definitionof heroes? The thread was about Baloch folklore, history and there hero, but you gave it a new turn just to prove that Mir Chakr was a Villain and never agree to listen anything against those whom you consider heroes. If you think you got right to make others heroes as dakus, then have courage to read something against your ideals as well.
Baloch consider Hazrat Ali and Shaikh *Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani their real Hero's *
Sawal gandum jawab chana. I asked you about a Muhammad bin Qasim, for a good reason. You said that ghaznavi, ghori and abdali are villians among balochs. I am wondering if Muhammad bin qasim is also villian among balochs. For sindhi nationalists, native raja dahir is hero while bin Qasim is forigen invader, a villian. Now arabs also captured makran and Muhmmad bin qasim entered sindh through makran. What are opinions of baluch nationalists about him?
Again you dont know what you are talking about. You were consistently saying “your heroes” are, “your heroes” that, i gave you an idea about my heroes when you warned me that with such attitude mir baloch could insult “my heroes” in reteliation. We are not dhoodh peetay bachay muqqawee…dont behave like one. I am indeed interested in my own pashtun history, but it doesnt mean my interest doesnt extend to world history, not every character in my history is wearing shiny armour like mir chakar. May be aitizaz hassan was a good for nothing lazy student, but he did some thing heroic which you even wont expect from pak army soldiers.

Again you forget. This thread was about Baloch hero Mir Chakar. You gave it new turn to malign their hero. Thats what I know. You consider his acts of leaving Balochistan and invading areas in Punjab as villain acts, but when we point same towards Afghan invaders, you bring Aitzaz hassan in discussion. This is beyond my understanding and therefore I'll not respond to any of your posts in this thread (a thread which was dead for a year and was made active with this post)
Also involved in loot and plundering which was a norm in those days. South Punjab was devastated by plundering expeditions of Mir Chakar , for many he was nothing more than Dacoit chief. According to contemporary sources ,The governor of Punjab and Multan ,Haibat khan during Sher Shah suri period, put an end to incursions of Mi chakar into Punjab and killed him.
To counter the encroachments of Rinds into Punjab, three baloch sardars, Ismael khan, fateh khan and ghazi khan were given the region of derajat by Suris. The claim of Mir Chakar joining forces with humayun and going with him to india , is pure myth and fiction, that only exists in baloch folk songs and poems, he was already dead by that time. Mughal sources do not mention any person by name of Mir chakar rind accompanying them to Delhi. On the other hand, ghakkar tribe of potohar, helping babur and humayun against afghans, is a solid fact.

My example of aitizaz hassan was to assisst you in understanding the meaning of hero and heroic deed. But you brought abdali into mir chakar thread , before i brought aitizaz hassan. You might have noticed , i only insisted on discussing mir chakar even though you were throwing abdali, ghaznavi, ghori etc into the discussion. I dont consider chakar a hero and i have explained at length why so. You disagree with me, thats fine. You and Mir baloch are free to call abdali and suri as looters, villian and dacoits and i am free to counter that. And history threads are never dead, this is not current affairs section where news expire after some time. As a mod you should know that.
Helped? They were in the service of their king Nadir shah afshar along with Afghans/Pashtuns. In 1744 Jonas Hanway obtained information on Nadir Shah’s 200,000 standing forces. The tribal contingents were Abdalis(50,000), Afshar (20,000), Uzbek Tartars(6,000), Turkemn(6,000)and Baluch (6,000). Nomadism in Iran: From Antiquity to the Modern Era - D. T. Potts - Google Books . It is clear that majority of soldiers in Nadir shah’s multiethnic army were Abdali Pashtuns. And ghilzais were also recruited after deposing them. One of the famous general of nadir shah was azad khan afghan, he was ghilzai of sulieman khel clan and had 12,000 ghilzai soldiers under him. Basically every ethnicity, under his rule, were represented in his army. Nothing special about it.
