Mashallah, 30 is a good age. You are still young but pretty wise and experienced.

I don’t hide my age,but I don’t confidently tell my age,as some people usually start questioning as of why iam not married yet

Nope. I don’t hide moi age. You can’t change the day, place, time you were actually born so why lie? It’s annoying when certain people despite being really old just never go past their 20s

i’ve never hidden my age … i tell it rather confidently … the only problem i do have, is this sense of lost time, and a huge thud in my stomach each time i see another 18 year old turn rich and famous … :hinna:

Oddly enough I do lie about my age. I actually say I am older than I am. My problem in the work environment is that I never tell people how old I am. I let them assume I am 30 plus. Because when they do find out, all that professional respect I have earned goes out the window.
I have actually had people tell me in Darfur that I am still a baby with so much responsibility. FREAKING HATE IT! I am here because I am qualified. My age should have nothing to ****ing do with my ability to manage the unit or do work or anything.
Missed out on a lot of nice opportunities to do some stuff, because one wanker thought I was too young to handle the responsibility.

You sound like my BIL - he was in a C-level management position of a MNC when he was inhis early thirties and he felt that when people found out how old (or young) he was, they were taken aback and it actually detracted from his standing. He was THRILLED when he started to get some white hairs. He said it gave him an air of distinction and people forgot about his age and considered his accomplishments.
It's got to be a guy thing to lie and make yourself OLDER than you are - I don't know of many women who would do that.

I NEVER hide my age & no i’m not touchy about it either.
Now I try to avoid telling my age cuz some students tend to not accept things from a teacher younger than them:bummer:
