Lucky duck! That means the infamous first trimester sickness didnt hit you too bad. My elder sister was soooooooooo sick the sight of food made her keel over but she gained about 10 lbs in the first 12 weeks and about 20 in the rest of the pregnancy. Congrats to all the mommies to be :k:

Hey congrats to all of u...may ur babies bring u alot of joy. However in response to the question...y don't u guys just get ur fellas to giv u a relaxing massage so that u can fall asleep easily...not only is this good for u but for the baby 2 (but i've heard it needs o be done in a special way when pregnant!)
jackie...i can relate to u...i always move about and don't quite know how i end up in the position that i am when i wake up...its a good thing i don't share my bed with anyone - would probably end up kicking him on the floor in my unconscious state!

I already had my baby nine months ago. Yeah he is nine months now mashallah and is a cutie patooti. I will post recent pics of him soon at image 2.

not been on for a loooooooooong time, congrats to those who are expecting, May Allah make it easy for you! i am also pregnant...i am 30 weeks now! i also have trouble sleeping at night especially when i have really bad cramps in my legs...but i find having a nap in the day really helps, i get tired really easily!

dont worry about not gainig weight...i actually lost a few pounds in my first trimester and i worried alot because of this....i didnt actually start gaining weight till my fifth/sixth month. i think thats wen most people start to notice the weight gain more rapidly. i am 30 weeks now and i have put on 10lbs.

The Virtues of Pregnancy**

* When a woman is pregnant with a child, all the angels will make Istighfar (repentance) on her behalf. Allah SWT will, for each day of her pregnancy, write for her 1000 good deeds and erase from her 1000 bad deeds.
When a pregnant woman starts to feel the pain from contractions, Allah SWT will write in her records as someone who is doing jihad (spiritual or physical struggle) in His path.
When a woman becomes pregnant by her husband and he is pleased with her, she obtains the reward of a person engaging in fasting for Allah SWT and a person spending the night in ibaadah (worship).
A woman from the time of pregnancy until childbirth and weaning the baby, is like the Mujahid (someone fighting in the path of Allah, swa) who is stationed on the frontiers of the Islamic land. If she dies during this period, she dies the death of a shahid (martyr).
Two raka'at salaat performed by a pregnant woman is better than 80 raka'at salaat performed by a non-pregnant woman.
A woman who is pregnant gets the reward of fasting during the day and of doing ibaadah (worship) during the nights.
A woman who gives birth gets the reward of 70 years of salaat (prayer) and fasting. For each vein that feels pain, Allah SWT gives her the reward of one accepted hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah).
If the woman dies within 40 days of giving birth, she will die as a shahid (matyr).
(Hadith)......."A woman that dies in her virginity or during her pregnancy or at the time of birth or thereafter (in nifaas) will attain the rank of a martyr"
Nabi(salalaallahu alayhi wassallam) is reported to have also said ".......When her labour pains commence, the inhabitants of the earth and the sky are unaware of the stores of comfort that are prepared for her.
When she delivers and breast feeds her child, then she will be granted a reword for every gulp of milk, if she had to remain awake during the night for the sake of the child, she will receive the reword of emancipating seventy slaves in the path of Allah Ta'ala. O Salaamat! Do you know who these women are? They are pious, upright, with a delicate nature yet obedient to their husbands and not ungrateful to them"

D2A...how about if a women is not getting pregnant but trying as hard as she could......she wouldnt get any of these extra virtues??? thats not fair!! :(...bummer for me

- recite Surah Maryam daily. Also continue making Du’aa after
every Fardh Salaat. Beg Allah to assist you and bless you with a pious,
normal and healthy child. - Recite the following du’aa in abundance, ‘Rabbanaa
hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa dhurriyyaatinaa qurrata a’ayun’. - Avoid stress and anything that would bring about anxiety.
- Try to be cheerful at all times.
- Maintain a life of Allah-consciousness.
- Maintain a healthy and well-balanced diet that includes a lot of green
vegetables and milk. - Get plenty of rest and avoid lifting up heavy objects.
- Try to look at things pleasing to the eye - like a beautiful scenery, for
example. - Avoid sinning as this also affects the spiritual nature of the child.
- Engage in Dhikr whenever possible.
