Shikra I use to sleep just like you before having my pea in my pod . But now baby moves inside (kicks, rubs, hicups and all kinda stuff). It is very intense feeling yet wonderful. Sleeping on side is not a problem it give support to tummy on sides.
Thank you saimanyc. Congrats to you too on your lil one. How is it going with your little one? I can not wait to hold my baby in my arms.
Well, I do have body pillow and sleep on leftside BUT BUT the pelvic pressure and pelvic bones are increasing as days are coming closer and closer. It is causing too much pressure on my hips and its painful to sleep in any position. Sometime I wish night never comes⌠I really get tired around 3am-4am and then tiredness puts me on sleep. My doctor has okayed me to take âTylonâ to reduce pain. I take a dose of it everynite to get some help otherwise nothing is helping.. Well, I just pray all goes fine and DDay come soon with healthy baby(amen).
Thank you for listening.
TLC , Love to you lil one.
hi Neera,

Those of u who sleep on their tummies (pregnant or not)
donât worry.
I am in the habit of sleeping on my tummy and I did up till the
5th month when I was pregnant with my daughter. My doc said
it was ok till I felt comfortable sleeping on my tummy. After the 5th
month I starting sleeping on side. This remained till a few months
after I had her cause I got used to it I think.
But now I am back on my tummy again and Luv it.
neera
I think u are doing fine. Stop worrying so much. All will be well.
Maya is doing very well. Sheâs a good sleeper Mashallah. Sheâs starting to get more alert now and is looking alittle more chubby. Itâs cute to see how sheâs starting to change little by little already. Pretty soon when your baby is born you wonât want to sleep at night. Youâll want to just stay up and watch him/her breathe and make cute little noises. But I went through the same thing as you did in the last month of pregnancy. I fell asleep around 4-5am also. But thatâs what happens. Just remember that when the hospital offers you medication, take it, before, during and after delivery. Because the AFTER makes 3rd trimester pain seem like a joke.
If you have an episiotomy youâll need a few days to recover and your feet and legs may get swollen. Take motrin. If you breastfeed, the contractions can be pretty bad. Take a percocet. I hope the delivery and recovery go well for you. I donât mean to scare you so i wonât go into details.
Wow 4 mommies to be...God Bless you with happy healthy children and a quick post delivery recovery...and may your body fall back into the sexy shape it was ;)..not that you're not sexy with a lil human inside you..ohh this is so cute
Wish i could join the club..hehe, we should have a baby shower for these lovely ladies!
Talking about weight, Iâve lost 6-7 kilos during the first trimester - last night I was worring about it and my tummy doesnt look âbigâ but as I asked my doctor and she told me that the baby takes what it needs.
I can still sleep on my stomach with one leg slightly tilted to make it comfortable.
Iâm in fourth month my nausea and fatigue has gone.
I lost half a pound since my last weekâs appointment. The doctor said, you are actually doing good and that your body is using everything that you are eating and not storing. But she said that the baby was measuring right on time so thatâs all that matters.
So, I guess itâs all good. I wouldnât have to work hard afterwards to lose the pregnancy weight:)
SadiaB, you still have about two more trimesters to go so you shouldnât worry. I actually gained most weight during my 2nd trimester and nothing during the 3rd! I guess some people gain weight earlier during the preg. and some later. As they say that during the last month some people gain about 8-10 pounds. So just eat whatever your body requires. I dont overeat and I am still able to do fine.
