Re: Are you patriotic?
i am not a fan of pakistan but i rather be pakistani than white or indian(not meant to unsult indians).
Re: Are you patriotic?
jackie, just curious - why did you decide to mention white or indian when asked if you are patriotic?
Re: Are you patriotic?
^ Because jackie thinks Pakistanis are of a vey different racial stock than Indians and Whites.
I am beginning to agree..![]()
Re: Are you patriotic?
::sigh:: ![]()
Re: Are you patriotic?
Just want to say that not that many people on this planet have heard of Pakistan, especially before the Afghan war or 9/11
to them you are all Indian!
Re: Are you patriotic?
^ Not since 9/11 though. :)
Re: Are you patriotic?
Yeah, even after 9/11 white people still see Pakistanis and Indians as one people, now they just see the two countries as Scotland and England and of course the religious differences (Pakis are the dangerous ones whilst Indians worship idols with lots of arms).
Paki is used interchangablly for all people from the north of the Subcontinent.
Even other Muslims don’t differentiate, my Arab friends can’t see why we can’t get on with each other beacuse to them we’re all one and we are, there is not much difference between our Punjabi/Sindhi/Kashmiri people and north Indian people, I’m Desi and I can’t differentiate a person from west Punjab to a person from east Punjab or Haryana, or a Sindhi from a Gujju or Rajasthani.
I don’t know why we’re creating differences where they are none, it’s the far right nationalists on both sides who are fcuking it up, we have our fair share of crackheads and they have their own extremist Hindutva fools who make the people feel aprehensive to each other.
Re: Are you patriotic?
If the kuffaar can unite so can we.
Who cares what you think? If it’s not possible then why do you guys keep getting so uneasy and insecure every time we believers mention it, it was only 1924 when the kuffaar ended it and Allah willing it will rise again with glory.
We’ve had our ups and downs and it wasn’t always perfect but we did have the golden periods of our history when we were united and we were much better off togther.
We Muslims are not allowed partisanship based on language, race or culture for us it’s religion which is the basis of unity, religion is not just spiritual for us it is our ideology and culture.
Re: Are you patriotic?
My twopence worth
When we are all old rocking in our armchairs toasting our feet by the fireside, drinking hot chocolate and trying to swallow the 180 pills for heart disease and high blood pressure, we will watch the news through our cataracts and they will be telling us how the countries in the indian subcontinent have joined to create an economical force.
like Europe...
same currency, no barriers to movement of people etc
we need to work together to get anywhere now.
and oneday the Indian subcontinent will celebrate its similarities instead of its differences.
(This may take a long time but I for one plan to live for ages)
Re: Are you patriotic?
^
:)
I hope it happens earlier than that.
Pakistan shouldn't have been created in the first place, Muslim states should have been given power of autonomy within a united India, we would coexist with people of other faiths like we did prior to partition.

That's one horrible thought.
I look at all these old Desi people rotting away in England and think why don't you guys move back to your own homeland now, you've a nice pension coming in, go live on your own soil in the sun, smoke your smoking pipe/chillum/hookah in the village hujra and chill, it's miserable here.
I know when I'm old and crippled, I’m going to move back to my village, I’m not patriotic towards the establishment of Pak but I love my own land (village) and my people.
Re: Are you patriotic?
Dont worry Ranjan
Im gonna open up nice little nursing home for people like you and I solomnly promise that none of the nurses will be horrible to you when you are old and decrepid.
Re: Are you patriotic?
loooool, if you're going to play nurse with me then heck yeah, i'm staying. ;)
Re: Are you patriotic?
Indian subcontinent will be an economic force..depends who wants to be a part of it or who wants to be a part of yesteryears’ glory in the sand pits of arabia.
Ranjhan, you will have to wait for another 1000 years or so..before the lhilafah becomes a reality (big if). Next few hundred/thousand years are years of the kuffar. even worse…idol worshipers. ![]()
Re: Are you patriotic?
What glory?
Re: Are you patriotic?
^ Exactly...
Re: Are you patriotic?
haha good one man. You are Hindko right? Are’nt you the same guy who said we should willingly give up our land and homes so that they can make a greater Afghanistan? LOL That some good love for your people. A kind of love we can pass on thanks.

Why don't we first worry about providing people who are still living off rat meat with clean food and water, clothes and a roof to those living in shantytowns before we talk about economic force?
India is even worse than the **** hole that is Pakistan. Who are you kidding? If India manages to make any economic progress it's only by starving it's population, your country is drowned in poverty and your public are worse off than even in our country.
The Arabian deserts, you ungrateful **** are the ones employing hundreds of thousands of your Indians or they’d still be starving to death back in the slums of smelly India.
The Muslim world has everything, we only lack good leadership, if our leaders were sensible and made good use of our resources there’d nothing we couldn’t achieve, but the puppet regimes governing our countries only care for their own vested interests.
Inshaa’ Allaah we will unite very soon and you just wait for another "Muhammad Ibn Qasim", this one will be from your west and just like before all your pooja and praatna to Shiva’s lingham and Parvati’s yoni will be of no avail to you and you Hindutva fools will be humiliated, Inshaa’ Allaah.
Re: Are you patriotic?
Prior to the Durrand line agreement those areas were part of Afghanistan, the Durrand line treaty was only meant for a hundred years and it expired in 1993 after which India was supposed to hand those areas back to Afghanistan but by then Pakistan had been created.
It shouldn’t have been under Indian occupation in the first place because the British took those areas by deceit, the then Afghan ruler King Abdul-Rahman Khan wasn’t literate in English and the documents they deceived him into signing were in English and not Pashto or Dari. Either way like I said in 1993 the Durrand line treaty expired and that land should have been given back to Afghanistan, its rightful owner.
