I doubt that was her intention. As far as being more demanding then medicine, I don’t agree - none of these fields could result in a life and death situation.

As far as education relative to finance, I can only speak for myself. BSc Math followed up by my current employer paying for me to study MSc stats and also CFA along the way. So a fair few years of reading books and taking exams. Is my job demanding? I’d say yes - constantly keeping updated on the global economy across numerous different markets, having to deal with clients with nakhra, having to go on 6 month placements from anywhere from NY to Singapore and having to travel within two hours notice to anywhere from the Yukon Territory in Canada, to Brazil, Russia, China or heck even Ghana! So pretty demanding I’d say! Just my two cents.

Indeed. I think that’s what makes it so stressful for doctors.
