Re: Are women overprotective?
I would have to say both genders are...it's understandebly natural to be looking out for the welfare of your children no matter where you live.

Re: Are women overprotective?
I think i will be crazy over-protective when I have a child..or children
i want to have more than one..maximum is two..but i am afraid with college education being so expensive when i get married i may be able only to afford one!
hopefully when i get to graduate school i will be able to make more money..
i dont know the career or profession my future husband may have...
i hope he is not the type of guy who wants 7 children...lol..i could never do that
i think this is an issue that has nothing to do with race or culture
for the life of me i dont understand why people think certain things are exclusive in his or her own culture...we all live on the same earth...
i know when i have my baby..ill probably ride in the back seat too..until i feel comfortable and let my hubby drive...:)
my friends are so afarid that i might over protect my children...even if i am at a friends house i could NEVER let my child out of my sight..especially at a large social gathering..
i was at this hotel during some desi family reunion...some of the children were roaming the hotel with their friends as young as FIVE!!! i couldnt believe it!
Re: Are women overprotective?
cultural ways of showing protection might be different, but you cannot doubt any mother's protective instinct.
yes, if she is overly protective, then it is unhealthy for the child/ren.
yet, we have to admit, that
too much trust on strangers, with one's kids, especially, is not good anyway.
