I agree with cricket, insofar as I believe it is evolutionary.

Also. Men are not “generally” more rational. Thos fields have generally been male dominated because women have not been encouraged to go into them. My physics teachers have alwys told me to drop it, for example, because they - as men were inadequate and did not realise that women are capable. But at least 2/3 of them are unemploye or rearing sheep in new zealand now. And I have out-qualified them.

So take that, put it in your pot of logic and rationality - and don’t forget to stir.

Agreed that women have been discouraged to be in male-dominated fields for longer than eternity.

And I am surprised that your Physics teacher ACTUALLY told you to drop it (assuming it wasn’t just an advice based on your circumstances and was actually gender-biased).
