^ So is it demeaning if hte girl actually wants to dress up? The same thing kinda happened to me (I know, shocking right!) and i wish i’d at least dressed nicer. but in teh end it was my big mouth that got me in trouble 
so its not like it made much of a difference how i looked. Anyways, i just thank my lucky stars that i don’t have to worry about this stuff anymore (and hopefully wont have to in the future inshAllah)…
