Are we being hypocrite to honor killing situation? [Spinoff from Qandeel b. thread]

I was hoping to hear from someone actually from Pakistan as to what they think apart from what we read on social media which was also reflective of their opinion. Thank you PCG for sharing.

This is the problem what I see. Its not like that Pakistanis are conservative only. If thats the case only it’d be fine. But actually they are not. They are just extremely confused.
They follow the religion who strictly prohibited backbiting or hurting/attacking anyone but they do this job wholeheartedly.
They despised people like Qandeel baloch but dont mind liking her pages or visiting it frequently and watching her videos. And as you said they celebrated her death, something which is a strict no-no in religion even for non-believers.

Same goes for bollywood movies. They take India as their enemy but die for their movies/celebrities.

Two years back while i was visiting Pak I happened to attend a mehndi event and the music started loudly on some indian “item-song” and to my utter surprise all those who are dancing in the middle are young lads possibly in 20s, 30s each with long thick beard much below their chin. I was like seriously?!
