i was wonderin … does the indian army have Muslim soliers… if yes then in the wars fought between pakistan and india .. the indian muslim soldiers killed are they to be considered shaheed ??

Many muslim soldiers have gotten gallantry awards (and for martrydom) in war against pakistan, including the highest one, paramvir chakkar.
I have a counter question, what is the status of soldiers killed in bangla war, of begalis and pakis, political and religious? Are they shaheeds?

They r working for the kaffirs against muslims…may be thats why the ratio of muslims in indian army has dropped to 2% only from around 30%at independence…

Shaheeds are those who die serving Allah, not for patriotism, a nationalistic ideal or political views.
Example if the case of Pakistan's 1971 civil war. If a soldier died fighting because he felt its his job, as I understand, he can't be considered shaheed. If he died because he loved his country and didn't want it to be split, then he can't be considered shaheed. If he died because he believed Allah required him to fight fitnah, to fight against those who wished to split the ummah of Rasoolullah (saws) even further, to fight those Muslims who would side with the kuffar against their own brothers to serve their own nationalistic ends, then inshallah that man would be a shaheed.
it is quite an obvious reason....
i did not think anyone wud need reasons to explain why an indian muslim in the army fighting against pakistan wud not be called a shaheed....
pakistan, whether purely islamic or not, still is a muslim country....
its army, fighting for the protection of the country, is still considered as in jihaad....
what if it had been a question like what if 2 muslim countries fight each other????
i think than its up to Allah to decide....
and we cant just give our judgement on that....
but an indo-pak war or an america-iraq war or a russia-afghanistan war is a case of jihad for muslims (from the muslim country ofcourse)....
most scholars prefer to remain silent on the issue....
but i dont know why....
but let us stick to the basic rule....
two people fighting with opposite views can never be both right....
both can be wrong, but not both right....
Only Allah knows if a man is Shaheed or not. Its not for us to decide...
You all are giving me a chance to laugh at your circus. If one muslim country is fighting against a non muslim, you can give a jugdement, that muslim country is right and when two muslim countries are fighting against each other you leave the judgment to allah.

by the way chief of armed forces in India today is a muslim, the president of India. I suggest you to innovate a new term for such people, ‘kafir muslim’.
So if a Muslim country declares war on a Non-Muslim country for a frivalous reason, lets say a despot of a military ruler, and the soldiers are told that Allah wants them to fight, they are shaheed?

- i have noticed in indian war films like loc - kargil, border etc the indian army chiefs mention the word shaheed b/f the indian soldiers names when the coffin’s of the dead r being sent back home etc they don’t even know wat they r talking about, no disrespect intended but come on, a kaffir and shaheed yeah rite!

No, if a Muslim country wages war for no reason against any country, the soldiers who die won't be considered Shaheed.
hmmm...a person becomes 'shaheed' only if he dies serving arab master's expansion plan around the globe.
For rest of us, we become 'Amar' if we are martyred for the honour of our MOTHER LAND.
