well, a friend of mine is BOHRI and as like many other shia people they curse our first three caliphs but they still believe in One God and Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) but theyve added ALIYON WALIYOLLAH in their kalimah. they are not much different then shia people as a matter of fact i believe its one sect broken off shia. And they also believe that on judgement day when erybody would have to pay for their sins they would straight go to jannat.
i dont know but would someone tell me if these people are considered muslim or not?
I just simply dont get the idea that why people think they have the authority to decide someone's faith. to me Sunni and Shia's both are muslims if they believe in Allah and our last Prophet(PBUH) thas it. thas all it matters *

I think Bohri people are a cast off of the Ismaili community. They only believe in imamat to a certain imam; whereas the ismaili community believes the imamat will continue for all times.
The question is, if you consider ismailies muslims?
^ Ismaili muslims? No, way.. they are followers of Aga Khan one of the twelvers.. I used to think they are muslims and are called "Ismaili" but I met many of them and I was proved wrong cuz Aga Khan made a spelling mistake cuz they are actually SMILEY like :)
I agree with Anil Khan. My understanding that that the Bohris separated from the Ismailis in the late 1800s, due to a diagreement of the nature, role, and power of the Imam. As far as I'm aware, Bohris are much more similar to orthodox sunni and shia beliefs than Ismailis are.
ironic really cos i know 2 pple 1 is ismaili other is bhora,
it is their choice what they follow,
we can not decide who is muslim and who is not.
are there not supposed to be 72 different sects in islam?

I know of a hadith where Prophet :saw: told the sahaba not to curse their parents. Sahaba (RA) said, Ya Rasul-Allah, how can we curse our own parents? He :saw:said, by cursing the other person’s parents, because when you curse their parents, you actually give them a chance to curse your parents.
Frankly speaking, I don’t think He :saw: wud advise to curse anyone. He, who had been treated bad by so many and yet he smiled and prayed for them. I doubt it. Wallah Alam
According to Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah (Imam Malik, Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Shafi'i, Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal, their followers and Salafis etc), Shias of Ithna 'Ashri (twelvers) are out of the fold of Islam.
I don't know whose opinion you are presenting as the mainstream Muslims.
If Bohris have same beliefs as 12ers in 12 Super Prophets (Infallible Imams) then they are Rejectors of 'Aqeedah Khatm-e-Nubuwwat and thus they are out of the fold of Islam, because of this reason only.
