It’s raining fat paychecks for Ranbir Kapoor. There’s buzz that the four-film-old Ranbir has gone from being worth a mere 50 lakhs in Saawariya (2007) to a whopping 12 crores for his next film with Imtiaz Ali.
A daily has quoted an industry insider saying that, “Ranbir is already in the top-ten bracket. He is outdoing himself with every new film and his fan base is increasing with every passing day.”
The true-blue Kapoor has had two releases this year in *Wake Up Sid *and *Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani *and both have done good business and have received critical acclaim.
Yash Raj’s Bachna Ae Haseeno producers readily paid Ranbir Rs 5 crore for a film but now seeing his growing popularity, filmmakers are willing up his asking rate.
Reportedly Kapoor has signed Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision’s next to be
directed by Imtiaz Ali for Rs 12 crores.

well first all of its not all about looks wise......n if he a good actor than ranbir than he should prove it ...like ranbir did with his super duper hit APKGK

well its the 2nd highest grosser in year 2009 ..after Wanted..........not completely expression less...............but he will learn day by day
wanted is soooooooooo overrated. i want SRK to come back next year with a bang!!!! breaking all records!!!

Wanted only became hit coz till now no srk amir or hritik movie is released .......so salman can enjoy his success may be amir's movie will break it........but looking at promos cant see it..............
anyhow MNIK promo is releasing on 18dec with the global release of Avatar a Hollywood Movie
i also wanna see SRK back with a Bang :D

APKGK was good, but Wake Up Sid was a lot better. Ranbir definitely proved his acting credentials with those two movies.
