Are taleban today's kharijiites?

Re: Are taleban today's kharijiites?

This is all relative. You are not accepting their kharijiyat based on your own personal opinion and understanding of Islam.
Taliban or TTP kharijis do not consider themselves wrong in anyway. They do not see anything wrong in suicide bombings in a masjid or a market. And they see nothing wrong in declaring democracy kufr. Yet you obviously disagree with them.
And just like you are accusing others of having "personal opinion without knowledge", similarly those khawarij also consider you an ignorant with a "personal opinion without knowledge".

(Everyone should read carefully what I write below and think about it):
In reality, no two groups could be similar 100%. Even among original kharijites, there were several sub-groups or sub-sects. Thus they were not exactly the same even among themselves. But what defines a group is some traits which are most peculiar about that group. For example, original assassins were Nazaris but this term "assassin" is used for anyone who go assassinate someone, even though that person may not be Nazari at all.
Similarly, the most peculiar characteristic of original characteristic was that they used to justify killing of common Muslims after declaring them kafir. This characteristic is matched by present day Taliban. And this is why they are kharijis of today.

^ Thank you for sharing your understanding :chai:

Re: Are taleban today's kharijiites?

+PMLN, +Pakistan Army +anyone else.

The whole country is khariji, only a select few are not :)

Re: Are taleban today's kharijiites?

And in response to red bold part:

Maybe not by declaring kafir, those who declare people kharijis and justify their killing are also wrong.

*Justifying killing should be considered wrong regardless of who calls other person whatever...khariji or kafir.

Back to basics: **Only proven criminals deserve punishment according to their crimes. Period.
