sufi, i know what ur trying to say....i wouldnt call the US an atheist nation but a SECULAR one. The religion of the majority is christianity (and its various sects)..but it doesnt play an important part in the americans' lives. But you've got it right though...seriously, if the majority of the Americans followed the bible, they wouldn't engage in tons of pre/extra marital sexual relationships, they wouldnt gamble, they wouldnt get divorced.....these are only a few of the things the bible prohibits (but are part of everyday life in the US)
