Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
I am guilty as charged. I have no shame in admitting that I hired two interns this summer and they are both very pretty. And yes, they are both girls.

Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
Well we merged banks and now she is in my group again. I guess the other bank fell for her as well. Nice set of baits she had.
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
Oh thats what Im trying to say. That a pleasant personality is helpful, but why judge on physical looks. I mean why hold it against the person. It was not their choice to be born like that. As for personality - yup thats normal - I agree with that.
Roman – That I dont wish to bring into my thread. Go open your own. Iss ki satyanaas na karo.
queer – If you dont have anything to say about the topic, you are free to leave. ( you can kiss my jooti instead)
fg-- I shall say I am not surprised.

edit:
"my “ha ha” was at mama’s post… this damn slow net
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
MQ, you are being repetitive. if you dont have anything new to say, feel free to leave. :)
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
MQ - this is natural, isnt it? everyone has a place to fill. everyone has their own good/bad points.
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
MQ, oh ok, I see. You can issue all the one sided comments on meat 'n all and when someone brings an intelligent counter point (actually, 'very intelligent counter' point), this is what you have to say?
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
intelligent? and you? Romeo you shock me.
(but if you wanna discuss porn stars and HR employees and respect you’re on. some other time though)
TNW – well of course jee. But not being hired because of physical looks is just so wrong!

Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
I have noticed that 'some girls' are very comfortable flirting with supposedly gay men. What the hell is that all about. Isn't that discrimination with straight men?
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
Ok, and now you’re being discriminatory (by only kicking queer) and voilent (by kicking queer) and you wanted to work in HR for your brains??? Get real. ![]()
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
I have a question for all the males that responded. If you were given a choice between a leggy sexy hot tamale or a hijaban. Who would you pick?
Job description:
The job is interacting with internal and external customers, light book keeping, occasional travel, some weekend work and some late night work during busy months. Must have good communication skills. No experience necessary will train but must be self-motivated.
Oh and the usual EEOE
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
I will hire both and use them strategically
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
LOL sorry due to budgeting constraints you can hire only one. Down select and try again.
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
Queer, I have seen you in person and you are as your describe yourself. If I was ugly, I would switch...you are safe for now.
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
^ I've seen queer and you too. I'd definitely want you to switch. I don't want ugly friends living in vicinity.
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
Roman, how big is your vicinity?
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
Ugly is relative..fat is well....fat, Chunky. :p
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
Danda - some like that.
Anyway, side subject - women in the work place do this too. My co-worker (female) only hired well-built football (student-athletes) for the office. She would watch them walk by and look at me and say, there is a reason I only hire football kids.
Since I now hire for the department since she passed, I started taking in girls also, but I still hire one football guy a year to work with me here :D in memory of her, of course.
Re: Are people too hung up on looks?
I hire girls with two footballs each
